The lotus flower is a transcendental symbol of an illumined soul in its qualities of beauty, purity, and enlightenment. It is rooted in mud and grows in murky water. A lotus grows upward towards the sun’s light, where one day it emerges at last and unfolds. The mud that nourishes its roots represents the physical realm. It is through our human experiences that we seek to grow and bloom. Rising above the mud of our material world to blossom in our spiritual life requires great faith and commitment. 

At our core, we are perfect health, joy, trust, and love. This is the true expression of our essence. We are Luministic by nature. But along our life journey, we experience trauma, stress, and strains that become confined in our bodies. When our bodies hold onto trauma and stress, our tissues and fluids are no longer in harmony, our core-body system becomes compromised. When there is disharmony in the body, the body reacts with symptoms of pain and discomfort. Emotional, physical, and behavioral issues arise.

As the lotus unwinds itself from the entanglements of suppressed emotions it is now free to grow and unfold into the light.

And they begin to awaken to an awareness of their own natural self-healing process and spiritual evolution as human beings, which is their innate birthright. The soul illumines from within. The lotus opens more and more to the eternal soul.
